Winter Read-a-thon

November 20, 2013, – January 4, 2014
Children ages 3 – 12 still have time to enter the Winter Read-a-thon. Just read 5 books to receive a free kids’ meal coupon from a participating local restaurant. Children can earn up to 3 coupons during program. Reading logs must be turned in no later than 1/04/14.
Astronomy Nights!
Western Science Center Museum
Friday January 10, 2014
6 pm to 8 pm
View the night sky at the Western Science Center. Learn about the sky, planets and stars. Telescopes will be provided by the Riverside Astronomical Society, a volunteer organization started in 1957. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
FAFSA Workshop for Students and Parents

Thursday, January 16, 2014
6 pm to 7 pm
Learn how to complete the FAFSA form for college. The FAFSA must be filed by March 2, 2014. Financial aid programs use the FAFSA to determine eligibility for aid.
